USA Today: Schools Using Breathalyzers
Monday, October 15, 2007 8:00:00 PM EDT
There is a front page article in the October 15, 2007 issue of USA Today that highlights the growing problem of teen alcohol use and the use of breathalyzers as one of the key methods to fight this problem. This article highlights a school district in Pequannock, NJ, that has implemented the use of breathalyzers citing the improvements in breath alcohol sensing technology. The current trend among high schools that activate an alcohol testing program is to screen students before major activities, such as sports events or the prom.
